Dr. Katherine E. Bell

Dr. Katherine Bell is originally from Columbia, South Carolina, and is excited to now call Savannah home and join the Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry family. She is passionate about creating positive dental experiences for children and helping patients and their families feel comfortable and cared for from their very first visit.

Dr. Bell attended Clemson University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish and International Health. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Following dental school, Dr. Bell completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Louisville, where she also earned her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD).

During residency, Dr. Bell received extensive training in comprehensive pediatric dental care, including caring for children with special healthcare needs, craniofacial anomalies, dental trauma, oral conscious sedation, and hospital-based dentistry under general anesthesia. At the heart of her approach to pediatric dentistry is a desire for every child to feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Bell strives to be a compassionate advocate for her patients and believes every child deserves care tailored to their individual needs. She especially enjoys helping children who may be anxious about visiting the dentist feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the dental setting.
